RAGDOLL

I created and wrote Ragdoll in the bleak Covid winter of 2020, with only Beat Takeshi for company. We filmed it in Spring 2021. It starred Lucy Hale, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Thalissa Teixera, with an incredible rogues' gallery of other actors: Sam Troughton, Sam Spiro, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Michael Smiley, Ali Cook and Clive Mendus.

The Guardian gave it four stars and said: "Ragdoll is made by the same production company as Killing Eve, and its writer Freddy Syborn did pen an episode of that show. It shares Eve’s wicked sense of humour, or rather its insistence on meeting wickedness with humour. You will know within 10 minutes whether the operatic ultraviolence, black comedy and arch, very nearly overwritten dialogue make you wriggle with joy or combust with irritation."

I managed to take my 3 year old, Leonard, along to set on the day of a gruesome murder AND a car crash.
